Changes...Why?
I saw changes as they went by, but I did know I'll be asking why?
Why they're still having babies so young
Why they don't listen like we speak with forked tongues.
Why they spend their fun filled years,
Changing diapers and crying tears.
Why they can not see the boys
playing with them like they were toys.
Why they think it's so much fun,
Walking with babies in the sun.
Why I ask couldn't they wait.
I guess it must have been their fate.
I saw the changes as they went by,
and the best I could do was sit and cry.
